Elijah Affi
is a visionary Creative Director, Executive Producer, Mandela
Washington Fellow, and Co-Founder of Takeout Media. He blends creative
vision with strategic clarity, shaping productions and brand collaborations that
drive culture, business, and social impact.
As Executive Producer of Tokunbo, Netflix’s #1 film, Elijah demonstrated the
power of storytelling to elevate African narratives globally. At Ingene Studios, he
continues to lead teams from concept to delivery, building original productions
that balance creativity with impact.
His work extends into sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals,
particularly water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). As Project Lead for the
World Bank’s SURWASH initiative, he spearheaded the creation of educational
content that promoted sustainable practices across Nigeria.
Beyond production, Elijah is committed to developing Africa’s creative and tech
talent. Through initiatives like TM Con and TM Connect, he equips young
professionals with the skills and networks to compete in global markets.
As a certified management consultant, Elijah has partnered with organisations
such as the World Bank, TotalEnergies, and Ecobank to align creative
storytelling with business and development outcomes. Passionate about pushing
the boundaries of storytelling, he champions media as both a cultural export
and a tool for sustainability, innovation, and global engagement.
